On Tuesday, March 24th at 9:22 pm (EDT), member number 3000 joined Kindleboards. farmshopdad was greeted with an ongoing celebration, as many of us have been anticipating the arrival of this milestone member for the past week or so. As part of the celebration, farmshopdad will receive a Kindleboards t-shirt as well as a signed book from one of our member authors, Jeffry S. Hepple.

Of course, loyal Kindleboards members are not being forgotten in the midst of all this excitement. Harvey is planning a random drawing for an Amazon gift certificate for $25. Members who have posted in the past 30 days will be eligible to win.

Kindleboards is growing exponentially, from 41 members on October 26, 2008 to 3007 members today. We have had over 1 million page views per month for the past four months. The announcement of the Kindle 2 really kept us busy in February with 1327 new topics; 31,203 new posts; and 689 new members joining the forum. Our record for most online (624) came on February 24th, the day the Kindle 2 started shipping.

Even though we are the largest independent Kindle forum on the web, we still pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming community.
