The Lord of the Rings: now on Kindle
Oh, there is much joy in KindleBoards today, as Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings is now available from the Kindle Store.
The LOTR is one of my all-time favorite books. I remember being in Grade 7 the first time I saw the book; it was on a shelf in the BookMobile that would pull into our small town once a week. I checked it out, and it took me so long to read that the BookMobile people kept asking me to return it.
The three books making up the trilogy were among the first books I bought when I started earning my own money. In my teens I would read them over and over. Upon finishing the last page I’d go back and start re-reading the story again. It spoiled me for other books.
Long-time Tolkien fans will appreciate getting the entire trilogy in one e-book through this Amazon link. And if you’re new to Middle Earth, get ready to meet a world and a set of characters that will stay with you the rest of your life.
