Hi KB friends,

I'm looking to read a few novels that are heavy on police procedures, especially about critical incident response and SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics), where the main characters are local police &/or FBI.

Some preference for local police.

Starts off with a SWAT like team (Massachusetts STOP - Special Tactics and Operations team) responding to a domestic barricade/hostage situation.   
Excellent police procedural/psychological thriller. 



While this police procedural does not involve a SWAT team, the last few chapters of the book are packed with enough action to qualify (can't reveal more without spoilers).
