Life has not been kind to Marcus. His family is falling apart. He has to juggle the declining health of his mother on one hand and a tedious dead end job on the other. His father has spent the last two years serving in some of the most dangerous parts of Iraq. Unknown to his family Marcus still struggles to come to terms with the death of his older brother that he idolised. With the weight of the world on his shoulders Marcus fights to keep his family safe and happy. What he does not know is that the person in most danger is Marcus himself. A serial killer is hunting down Olympic champions, martial art masters and professional fighters. Marcus is dragged into a secret underground society of martial arts when the serial killer turns his attention to street fighter Marcus.

The Way of the Crescent Moon is free today on amazon kindle. It is a fast paced mixed martial arts suspense story. A seriel killer is in the city. He is targeting martial art champions and household names. Street fighter, Marcus, is drawn into a dark underground society when the seriel killer turns his attention on him.

This is not your usual martial art story and is roughly based on my experience as a martial arts teacher. It shows different sides of human nature and how you can achieve anything with hard work. As a carer for my sick mother, trapped in a dead end job at the time, dealing with local gangs and thugs, whilst supporting my pregnant sister, and stressed about my father serving in Iraq. I was struggling to find time to train and teach. Life was crazy. This story has so many things readers can connect with, as it is 90% based on actual events, but with a nice bit of fiction thrown in.
