A model's murder takes Cuddy into the jaws of the Boston mob
She was born Tina Danucci, but modeled as Mau Tim Dani., Her friends find the slender beauty strangled to death in her apartment, a priceless necklace of hers nowhere in sight. The police dismiss the murder as an impossible-to-solve botched robbery, so the insurance company hires John Francis Cuddy to do what the homicide detectives can't. Emily's face is forever etched on my kindle.  Sad It's actually rather creepy!!

Yes, I dropped my k3 on its face on the hard wood and it's wrecked!!!  Sad
Sad day. I decided not to try and whine and moan to amazon CS to get a refurbished or whatever else they might offer me since it was clearly my fault. Instead I've ordered the k4 since they are so relatively inexpensive now.

They should really like me. Is the fourth k4 I've ordered in the past 2 months. I gave 3 for Christmas gifts!!

If anyone wants a nice framed picture of Emily let me know!! Smiley

Oh BTW I decided to get myself an Oberon cover to ease my pain lol

I think you owe it to Emily to give her a decent burial. Smiley

Poor, poor K3. Sad  Emily really IS creepy looking.

You should see if anyone on ebay wants to buy your non-working K3. Maybe someone would like to harvest it for working parts??

Oh, your poor K3! But that Oberon cover will do the trick and cheer you up! I have dropped my K3 several times, but always on carpet and not from standing height. I am lucky!

Yah I keep staring at Emily thinking, 'Really, if they posted a picture of me like that when I'm dead - I'd come back to haunt them'!!  I am actually quite lucky too - I have had my poor K3 fall off the bed many many times without incident.  This time it landed just right I guess - flat on Emily's face!! sigh...It's a sad moment.  I've been reading on my ipad which is quite annoying really.  However, I know it will be just a couple of days more!!  You will love your K4. Emily is creepy. Most are. However, John Steinbeck's pic is cute.

You'll get some decent money for it on ebay, just make sure you tell them it's not water damaged. And somebody will buy it for repair or spare.

The sleep pictures are completely different on the current Kindle than they were on the 1st 3 generations.

I've never been bothered by the original screensavers.  I kind of like them.  Roll Eyes  But they are different on the new ones.
