A model's murder takes Cuddy into the jaws of the Boston mob
She was born Tina Danucci, but modeled as Mau Tim Dani., Her friends find the slender beauty strangled to death in her apartment, a priceless necklace of hers nowhere in sight. The police dismiss the murder as an impossible-to-solve botched robbery, so the insurance company hires John Francis Cuddy to do what the homicide detectives can't. But there's something the cops know that Cuddy doesn't: Tina's murder isn't just hard to solve, it could be deadly.

Tina was the granddaughter of Tommy "the Temper" Danucci, the invisible face of the Boston mafia. She turned her back on him to become a model, but hers is the kind of family that never forgets a child. Once Danucci learns that the police have lo...

Hi,

I have a question about cases with a magnetic clasp like these.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/iTALKonline-PadWear-Executive-Wallet-Wireless/dp/B005SU8UU4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1327251506&sr=1-1

The majority of them have the clasp on the right, and I was wondering whether this is distracting during reading?
If it is I'll search for ones with the clasp on the left and buy one of them instead Smiley

Alternatively I was wondering if anyone had a case with the magnet built in such as

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006JONQS4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A1PGEGQVNWDYL2

Although my fear would be that these would be more likely to open if I dropped my kindle

Thank you,

Ian Smiley

I personally find it distracting, but it might not bother some. I bought a case like that and ended up returning it. You can sometimes tuck the clasp bit underneath, depending on the case, but it might be hard to do if it's thicker. It's just one of the reasons I much prefer the elastic band strap, another being it's more secure in case of a drop. Smiley

I have a Noreve for my K2i.  It has a strap with a magnetic snap on the back/right.  I don't have a problem with it at all.  I just fold it back, usually I fold the front around to the back and resnap the strap on the backside.

My Fire's case has the hard curved piece on the right front that grips the side of the Fire when I close the cover.  I find that more of a problem when opened and folded back.
