A model's murder takes Cuddy into the jaws of the Boston mob
She was born Tina Danucci, but modeled as Mau Tim Dani., Her friends find the slender beauty strangled to death in her apartment, a priceless necklace of hers nowhere in sight. The police dismiss the murder as an impossible-to-solve botched robbery, so the insurance company hires John Francis Cuddy to do what the homicide detectives can't. But there's something the cops know that Cuddy doesn't: Tina's murder isn't just hard to solve, it could be deadly.

Tina was the granddaughter of Tommy "the Temper" Danucci, the invisible face of the Boston mafia. She turned her back on him to become a model, but hers is the kind of family that never forgets a child. Once Danucci learns that the police have lo...

Sorry ahead of time for my meticulous overload on aesthetic: I have both the kindle nt and the kindle touch and that Kindle logo, for some reason, bugs the crap out of me and with the color of the bezel, for some reason, my eyes keep going to the logo. I solved this problem on the k touch by getting that safari case which covers the bezel entirely (but now the screen is too deep in) but can't solve it with the kindle nt cause i'm using the oem kindle case by amazon (the super slim one). Is there any way i can rub it out? If not, i'll just put a sticker over it but id like to really make the bezel just clean silver all around. that would be awesome. Any tips, advice, suggestions?  Thanks for any help.

How about putting on a neutral type skin on it. I use a matte black woodgrain on my K3 as I was covering a crack and I wanted something that will not distract me. I think there are skins that are just one color without designs.

I would just worry you damage part of that silver coating trying to get the logo off and then you are left with a spot there and your eyes will go to that  Cheesy

good thought. was mine as well. i got one of those black ones off ebay and it just makes my kindle look cheap. the black is shiny and i'm pretty bad with putting those decals on so there are little bumps in it from dust particles and the decal doesn't line up completely to the buttons at the bottom.

Get one from decalgirl.com.  They have an option for matte finish and are super easy to put on.  I always had issues putting on decals but with decal girl I have yet to mess one up.

Get the Matte finish from Decal Girl. It doesn't look cheap at all. Plus, they are adjustable so if you get it a bit crooked you can remove and readjust if necessary.  Decal girl skims are the only ones I use.

Whatever material decalgirl uses makes it so you can re-adjust where you are putting the skin so if you mess up you can fix it without much hassle.

At least with the K4 and KT, the color of the logo is dark. With the KK, the lettering was light colored that REALLY showed up.  I had a skin on my K4 for awhile, but took it off because I actually found it distracting. (But I think that was due to my choice in skins.)

I think the advice to cover it up with a plain matte skin is the best idea - trying to get the logo off just isn't going to work and you'll likely end up making a more distracting mess.

It's strange though, how what bothers one person, another doesn't even notice. I have both a graphite DX and K3 and I actually had to go and get them and take a look to remember exactly what the logo looked like on them! I really just never notice it.  Maybe it's the black logo on the lighter coloured Kindles that show up more?  Undecided
