Two-day .99 sale: the book that got me my agent and first print contract

Jokers & Fools won the Mainstream category of the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers contest years ago, and got me my agent. Publishers loved this book, but no one could categorize it, so they asked me to write something else. I moved on to paranormal romance with Zebra and mysteries with St. Martin's. Now I've self-pubbed what some people consider my best book and am selling it for .99 for a limited time. Then I'll bump it up to $2.99.

I firmly believe ebooks should be priced reasonably, which is why I've turned down a second hardback contract with St. Martin's and am going out on my own.
