I read my Kindle Touch in the Amazon lighted cover every night before bed. It helps me wind down from my stressful job and clear my head so I can fall asleep.

I read my K3 almost every night in bed. I have a case with a stand which is awesome for this. I also love that I never lose my place.

When I do read in bed, it has to be my "secondary" book that I keep for light/short periods of reading. If I try to read my "main" book, one of two things will usually happen...
1. I'll get so into it I wont go to sleep until way late and then be tired all the next day. 2. The next day I'll find I don't remember the last three or four pages I've read because I was dozing off and will have to reread them.

Definitely! My Kindle 3 has one of those covers with a built-in light, which allows me to read without keeping my significant other awake.
Though I have to agree with Derek on a few points: reading in bed does have the disadvantage of postponing sleep sometimes.

Absolutely! And Kindle makes it so much easier since I tended toward hardback books. I have an M-Edge light and that helps a lot too. I prefer my K3 for book reading. I have read every night before retiring for most of my life. It relaxes me. I am rarely without my Kindle in case I have a few moments to read, but bedtime reading is a fond lifetime ritual!

Much of my pleasure reading I do at night, lying in bed. I've never fallen asleep while reading. If I start to get drowsy I realize I'm not processing what I'm reading and then turn off the Kindle.

It's my main reading time.
Ditto. One hour every night without fail.

I sure WISH I could do this! Sometimes I fall asleep so quickly that I am dreaming that I am still reading, but the plot line totally changes. In my dream, I realize this and it wakes me up. (And what do I do? I keep reading.)

I have also fallen asleep while reading and dreamed that I was reading. One time I woke up because I dreamed that the words did not make sense. When awake, I discovered that I had highlighted several pages in my K2 while I was asleep. After I cancelled the highlight, I put the Kindle down and went back to sleep.

I read in bed everynight. I use my lighted cover. I have a pillow I can sit my kindle on and lean it against the wall. It is really nice because I don't have to hold the kindle and when I fall asleep I know my kindle isn't going any where. and if it needs charged I have a charger right next to the bed. so I just plug it in turn it on read and fall asleep.
I also take my fire to bed with me and do the same as I do my kindle. So if I don't feel like reading I can play games.

All the time. I love being able to lay more comfortably and read with my Kindle and not have to balance a book.

A strange collection of flash fiction dealing with the end of the world, or the beginnings of longer stories. A special treat for the fans at just 99 cents.

Having a fire in your bed sounds dangerous.

Yep. As soon as my little one is sleeping beside me. The Kindle gets turned on and I turn over so the light doesn't bother her.
Sometimes I don't turn if off until after 3am lol
I'm too busy during the day to find time to read at moment. And I love the peace of the night.

How can having a little fire in your bed be a bad thing?
