Kind of a different question about the Bible on Kindle

I searched for something similar to this question and didn't come up with anything, so I hope I'm not repeating something that had been discussed recently.  Anyway, my husband wanted to read the Bible on his computer.  After visiting the Christian book store and seeing their programs were $100, I decided to download the Kindle reader on his laptop.  Then I found a Bible that had everything he wanted, specifically the NJKV and the words of Christ in red.  My question is why aren't the words showing up in red?  Several colors do show up like blue, brown and purple in different areas of the Bible so I know it isn't like my Kindle keyboard with only shades of black/gray.  I can't find any information on Amazon about this so I was hoping someone here could help me.  I guess we could return it to Amazon, but it was the only one I found in the NKJV with the red letters.

That's weird, did you get this one?  It says it has red letters, and the reviews indicate that it does as well.  It doesn't mention anything about other colors (although hyperlinks will probably be blue, and maybe purple after you have clicked on them).  I seriously doubt that it's even possible anything "wrong" to make the red letters not show up.

No, we bought this one: Life Application Study Bible NKJV  (don't know how to make the link) because he specifically wanted the New King James.  The description says red letters but they just show up black on the computer.
We will just keep looking.
