Does anyone know why this might be?

Ck'ed my Prior 6 weeks' Royalties report

One line showed the following:

Net units sold =  1,514
Royalty = 70%
Avg. list price =  2.99
Avg. offer price = .12
Royalty = 109.49

I'm very new to this but I don't understand this math.

If there is already a thread on this please let me know but I could not seem to find it.

Thanks

Ken

Did you offer the book free for any length of time? The average offer price looks like you did (it's taking an average between 2.99 and 0 with the number of copies sold or downloaded).

It was offered free Jan 27,28,29.

The .12 sale price line was dated Feb. 4.

You think that's what it is ?

That line date is for the week ending 2/4, which includes the freebies on 1/28 and 1/29.  So yep, that's exactly what it is.

The monthly statement breaks it all out. It lists a separate line for 70% sales, 35% sales, free downloads, and borrows.

Terrence,

Ok, thanks. Another part of the learning curve for this newbie.
