New Sci-Fi novel ~ Standard Affair

Hi all! My new science fiction novel, Standard Affair: A science fiction adventure just went live. It's about 65,000 words. It's not a hi tech, hard sci-fi piece. It's similar in style to my short story collection, Waves In Time. It has humor, it has tragedy, and most everything between. I hope you'll like it!

Wow... I like this cover -- it's striking -- but after taking a closer look, I can't figure out what is going on here.  Could you tell us about it?

Thanks very much for the compliment! The cover is a fractal! I use a program called Mandelbulb 3d that creates amazing 3d fractals. I have many hundreds of them posted on my DeviantArt account. http://haltenny.deviantart.com/. This particular image loosely resembles alien plant life and scenery on a planet that the main characters in the book visit. They are kind of like bounty hunters and have to collect a specimen for a woman's collection. The plants are nasty things that throw poison darts to numb their prey and then eat them.

I'm a math guy, but I've only seen fractals in two dimensions.  So that is fantastic!
