So, anybody ever advertised with BookMooch blog ads?  And if so, have they any results they'd be willing to share about this experience?

I adore BookMooch; it's a fabulous community, and I love being part of it.  The idea of advertising on that website seems rather appealing to me.  But the prices are so high that I'm really leery of it, without at least REALLY HIGH recommendation (and statistics) from people who have tried it.

Has anybody here tried it?  Has it been worth the money?

Well, you say you love the site.  I suspect that means you visit it often.  So you are your own target demographic.

How many advertised books do you remember from the last month?

How many ads have you clicked on?

How many books that were advertised have you bought?

I'd be interested to see some better tracking on how many books they can sell. I know it says, "sold $50k in books with the Amazon button", but that doesn't tell me much. How many books? How many impressions? Clicks vs. purchases?

It's kind of expensive to try out, too. The cheapest option I saw was $210 for a week.

So... I like to think I'm pretty plugged into things, and honestly, I had never heard of BookMooch before.  I'd be leery of advertising on their site, just because it looks like everyone who is there is looking for free books...  I have found that advertising dollars went pretty far with Pixel of Ink and Kindle Nation Daily.  Honestly, though?  Going Kindle Select and running a two day freebie promotion was the best business decision I've made during my whole self published journey... Your mileage may vary.
