A question for you Select experienced folks.

I put one of my books in Select back in December, but didn't use the free days until now. I decided to use all five days at once since the three month commitment is almost up. This is the second day of "free" and the book is currently #1 in free historical romance and #3 free in the Kindle store.  So, what is best?  Do I end the free period early while it's still high on the lists or let it continue, let the downloads continue, even though it starts to sink?

I had good success in the Paid store after coming off a 2-day Free run (mine got to #5 Free), so I'd say end the Promo and try to catch as many sales as possible.

No way to know what will happen, but given that you made it so high -- seems like a decent enough chance you'll do well.

I'll echo David's advice. I'd cancel it right now and hope you can slide back in to the paid ranks with the most momentum.

Good luck!

That is good advice imo. It's what I'd do.
