I've read all of your Jack Daniels series and even pre-ordered the one coming out tomorrow.

Well, or I thought I had. I have "Shot of Tequila" on my Kindle waiting to be read. Where does it fit into the series?

I'm having a new professional cover done for Tequila, to make it look like one of the old Robert McGinnis pulps. It's essentially a pulp novel--lots of action and violence and wiseguys talking trash. It takes place in the early 1990s, when Jack Daniels was still a detective. She has a co-starring role. The hero is a criminal, whom Jack is chasing. There's enough testosterone in that book to kill somebody.

I just read this in one sitting myself. As expected, I loved it.

We've seen the short story (Serial) and the novella (Truck Stop). I hope we eventually get a full-length novel using this concept. I'd snap it right up.

BTW, very nice review, Red. I've seen you around on the Amazon boards. I rarely post there myself, but I remember your name.
