I have my Kindle 2 in the M-Edge Prodigy case, and I have a Borsa-Bella bag for storage at home or for travel. But my everyday handbag is fairly small, and the Borsa-Bella bag won't fit in there. So I've been looking for something very thin to use as a dust cover over the M-Edge case.
Today at the Container Store I found something in the kitchen section that may fit the bill. It's a soft 9X12 zippered bag used for storing silver. It's even blue, like my Prodigy cover.

It's meant to keep silver from tarnishing, so the cloth contains something called R-22, which, according to the box "neutralizes airborne sulphur, the cause of tarnish." What I'm wondering is whether having this substance in the cloth would cause any harm to either the Kindle electronics or the leather in the M-edge case.
I tried looking this up online, but found nothing helpful. I suppose I could call the company, and may do so, but it's admittedly a rather weird question to ask them. So I'm wondering if there are any chemists here at KB, or anyone else who's tried using this type of cloth in this manner, and might be able to comment. Or just your 2 cents whether using this is advisable or not. (If it doesn't seem like a good idea, I'll use the bag to store my few pieces of silver jewelry, and I have some other ideas about things to use for the Kindle case cover.)
