Product Description
Fishing’s Greatest Misadventures presents twenty-six true stories which cover the spectrum from terrifying to comical to downright bizarre. In these pages everyday fishermen, pros, and journalists tell their stories of freak accidents, fishy attacks, pranks, idiotic decisions, eerie or unexplained incidents, and other jaw dropping, adrenalin-pumping calamities. The stories bring to life the strange possibilities that await us once we cast our lines into known and unknown waters.

Here are some of the characters you'll meet inside these pages:

* A sport fisherman who gets taken on harrowing underwater ride by an angry white shark.
* An adventure angler whose boat is over turned by a 200 lb Amazon-river catfish.

* A teenager who sabotages a fish farm and frees 300,000 salmon.
* A charter boat operator who gets speared thro...

The GE Booklight is my favorite light to use with the Kindle2 in the Oberon case (corner straps, not velcro).

The light turns on when opened.  It slides onto my Oberon case easily, however, I am not sure if it would work with an Oberon Velcro case.  It is lightweight and the "hinge" is adjustable.   I am not exactly sure how to objectively rate the brightness of the light.  So, instead I'll just say that it is the right amount of light for for me, not too bright or dim.  Also, it doesn't bother my husband when I am reading in bed at night.   I bought several at Walmart for apx $7.00 each - lightbulb section.   Sorry I do not have a model number or link - I couldn't find either.  Final grade = A

Thank you for your review on this. I went to Walmart and purchased before my Kindle arrived. I love it. It weighs just about nothing and works great on my M-edge Go Kindle cover. I want to get replacement batteries to have just in case.

Thanks again for the review.

I picked up one of these at Wal-Mart.  I love it.  It works great with my Minisuit leather case.
Thank you for sharing this find.

How far down do you clip it?   The velcro on my Oberon doesn't start till 1 1/2" down from top.

Any chance this could be slightly modified to clip directly to a naked Kindle? I don't use a case, but would love to use something like this. I wonder if I could glue some type of foam to the clip mechanism so nothing hard would come in contact with the Kindle. Anyone who has one think this would work?

I think you could use a piece of velco that would hold it on the back of the kindle if you don't mine the piece of velco on your kindle. The light if very lightweight and I think the velco would work.

It's a clip on light right? I wasn't thinking I would need velcro so much as something on the inside part of the clip to keep the plastic from scratching up my Kindle... I guess I'll need to go look at one and see if it will work.

The problem is the clip does not open all that wide, I just tried it on my kindle and I don't think you would have to worry about scratches but more that is will slip off of the kindle.

Just a side note. I now longer use this light as it dimmed and the batteries were a dollar cheaper than buying a new light so I went with a mighty bright flex 2. They have a cushion on the clip so it will not scratch if you want to put it on your kindle. At least the batteries are cheaper, last longer and you can use rechargeable batteries in the mighty bright.

TSinGA or Jo, you've had actual experience with this light--any info for fishcube?

The clip does not go that far down, but you can tuck the clip between your kindle and your cover.

As far as the batteries, it takes 2 CR2032 type of batteries.

I would like to know if anyone has compared this with the M-Edge e-Luminator or not

I have both lights, Cheerio.  Personally I prefer the M-edge light for my M-edge cover.  But the e-luminator does not work with any other cover.
