Product Description
This literary thriller revolves around Parker Sloane. When he returns from a dismal foray into third-world cash-smuggling to his childhood home in the woods of New England, it seems he’s seeing his country and his blended stepfamily for the first time—and finding both just as twitchy, desperate, paranoid and unpredictable as the underworld types he thought he’d escaped.

Before he can even unpack, Parker goes head-to-head with his relatives—his tyrannical stepfather, seething younger brother, newly evangelical mother, and his alluring younger half-sister Rita—and with the demons they never exorcised.

Delicately but disastrously, Parker attempts to keep his family from imploding, unaware that they have their own plans for escape. The Moon in Deep Winter combines the dark comedy of the Coen brothers with the doomed lyricism of Denis Johnson, creating an airtight world of homicidal family dysfunction.

Can this be true??? My kindle is telling me it's out of memory. I only have 144 books!! What the heck?

Could it be the songs I have on there? I only have maybe 20.

It might be the songs. Music takes up a ton of space compared to a book. Look at the size of your songs from the file in your computer. that will tell you if your music is the problem or not.

You can also try a reset and see if that frees up the space.

What version Kindle do you have?

144 books and 20 songs doesnt seem like it would use up the entire memory. I am not sure but it sounds off to me.

See that's what I'm thinking too. I hope that something isn't wrong with my Kindle. I'm going to erase all the songs tonight Sad Sad and see if that helps!

Anyone know the shortcut or whatever to see my free memory space?

The only way I know to see how much memory is used is to hook the Kindle up to the computer.  On mine, I just find the drive with the Kindle on it and look at properties.

Maybe there's some file that is too big. I'll check to see how big is the document folder and the music folder by right click the folder and click property.

Also, be sure you empty the trash/recycle bin while the Kindle is still hooked up to the computer.

If you have been using basic web, you may need to clear history and cache.  CS may be the answer to your problem so they can talk you through checking all the possibilities.
