This was a wonderful mystery. Misdirection and a great cast of secondary characters that will enthrall you. You will find yourself turning the pages, wondering what will happen next. The relationship between David and Chris grows subtly. No sudden lighting strikes or hit by a truck here. There isn’t any rush about it at all and that’s works very well in this story. By the end you can see how each of them has grown and changed for the better. While Chris is still somewhat narcissistic and David is controlling, together they balance out one another.

I purchased both of these books.  I was hooked from the beginning and I read the second one as soon I finished the first one. I didn't want the story to end. I would give these a 5 star rating.
