I think I've only posted here once, but lurk frequently. Last week I was sent to the ER with probable gallbladder problems. I was admitted and stayed for 4 days. Everyone who came in my room asked about my Kindle, including the doctors! I had SO much fun showing her off - all her great features.
Unfortunately, they never figured out what the problem was. I'm scheduled for an EUS on Tuesday, and am planning to take Kindie with me, as I have a gut feeling that I'm going to be admitted immediately for surgery.

Wow, sorry about your health problems! I'm glad you had fun showing off the Kindle, though. Be sure that you bring along someone to hang onto your Kindle while you're "out."

Sending positive thoughts and hopes your direction as the testing and treating continues!
Ditto Marianner's advice re: Kindle safety in the hospital while you are "out".

Good luck. I recently was at the hospital with my Mom and Kindle came so in handy. I always had something to read.

I'm so sorry. Maybe they'll be able to treat you without surgery. Here's hoping!! It's nice to know you'll have your Kindle to keep you company anyway though isn't it?

Hi Yasmina. Sorry to hear about your health problems. Waiting for the diagnosis is the worst. I am trusting you will not need surgery. However comma having a Kindle while you are at or in the hospital is wonderful! Blessings to you and trusting all goes well!

I hope they figure out what's wrong so they can fix it - hopefully without surgery.
When I think of all the times I've been in the hospital, or staying with someone else who was in, and forgot my book or finished the ONE I had with me, I realize how great it'll be to have my Kindle next time.
Get better soon!

Yasmina, I sure hope the tests they run give you some idea of what is going on...... I hope that it is something that can be taken care of without much trouble. I know you will have plenty to read while you hurry up and wait. All the best !!!!! Brian

Sure glad you had your Kindle to help pass the time--if you had any in between showing it off! :-) Isn't it cool that you can actually download stuff directly from your Kindle?! Sure hope your medical issues get resolved quickly.
