Interesting.
It's not what I personally would want, but there might be a viable market for it.

No need to reinvent the wheel I guess. Looks like Kindle after getting enlightened, pure and simple. Nice try iriver, one point for effort.

The physical keyboard keys look like they could be nice, but the layout is absolutely horrid.

Actually, I kind of like the buttons at the bottom of the device.

Actually, I really like the keyboard buttons but would hate not having page turning buttons on the sides.

That's what I was thinking. If something works go with it. (But be careful about copyrights)

I think the keyboard would be more of a challenge to use than it first appears. It's a QWERTY keyboard but it's all shifted to the left and that's not going to be easy for a touch typer's brain to process. You expect keys to be in certain positions, and even slightly shifted like that it'll probably be difficult to get used to.

perhaps with competition the kindle 'might' go down in price? don't know but i do think the boom of ebooks would be greatly aided by a reader well under a hundred bucks. my opinion only naturally.

actually it just looks like it it's not the same iriver makes some quality stuff but i think they should stick to making mp3's, and pmp's lol it;s usless if it can't buy books online. a regular iriver pmp player can read text. but still they're reaching out. and they;re certainly not a chinese knockoff company although no internet is really bad i rather have a kindle really
