12, the link-maker worked until just recently. Amazon changed something on their end that rendered our link-maker useless. Harvery, our illustrious leader, has been very busy lately working on another wonderful project for KB. I'm sure he'll give it more attention as soon as he can.
Thanks for posting a book.

Thank you also, dr enee, for taking time out of your precious morning to respond to my question.
I apologize if I appeared to be "out of line" by posting my question. It is just that I have found the link at the top of the page to be extremely frustrating (and it is evident that I am not the only one); I thought I was doing something wrong on my end when it would not work. But, when I look back through this thread I see that most everyone that has tried to link a book has also been duped by the link.
I did finally figure out that the linker v1 works (a couple weeks ago, when I first joined here), & I figured out how to use it (thanks to the excellent and easy to understand directions given there). HOWEVER, it was only by a stroke of luck that I ever found that teeny tiny link to the v1 linker in the first place.
My point (& yes, I do have one) is that if the v2 don't work, why not link to the v1 in the meantime, while you wait for whatever it is you're waiting for Amazon to do? A bad/broken link is a pain for the user. It might even result in potential users just giving up and not posting. And that would be a lose-lose for everyone, AFAIC.
Peace.
