I like her commitment to buy a book at a bookstore for every Kindle edition she buys... wish I could afford to do the same!

I enjoyed the article, but I found her "guilt" amusing.  The Kindle is a revolutionary step in publishing.  One needn't feely guilty in using and enjoying it.

The more converts the better.

Especially ones who are not just readers but also "book people", who like the way the books themselves feel and look and smell, as she says about herself.  I think when someone like that tells friends and co-workers about the Kindle, they'll take it more seriously than if it came from a "gadget person".

As a former independent bookstore co-owner, I appreciate her sentiment, and if her guilt is causing her to spend more money on books of all kinds, that's good, right?

Susan; I couldn't have put it better myself.  I do think it is even more complimentary coming from someone who is a book person.
