I believe that the numbrs showing are todays and if not corrected will go away and b replaced with tomorrow's. I keep a screen print of the DTP page (with 13 books it's easy to loose track what has sold new in any given day). So I'm just adding the isolated totals that are there today to my running total there, Smashwords, CreatSpace and Mobipocket. To validate whether the sales are new or nor, you go to your sles rankings and see if they dropped in your favor over the ast time you looked (I keep a daily accounting of my Kindle book rankings since TitleZ no longer keeps track of them). Hope that helps, and anything goes with Amazo, so when it call comes back you might be surprised.

I just bought Sojourner. Now go see if you got an incremental sale.

Ed, Thanks for the sale, and I hope you enjoy the book. I can't tell because it went from showing 2 copies sold to 10 copies sold in ten minutes. The ranking is worse than it was so I don't think that's updated from the sale. The magic number I had sold of that title this morning was 17. Perhaps this means that since I'm at least showing sales for all the books when before only six titles showed up that maybe the problem will soon be fixed, and I'm right with you. I have 13 titles, too, and I'm going to have to keep track of this differently.

Ah! I see I'm not alone by a long shot. Many thanks to all who responded. Maybe the folks at amazon were all partying over the big stock market news and someone pushed the wrong button somewhere in a drunken stupor. hee hee

Mine have completely returned. This is, I beleive, the fourth or fith time this ha happened. But they are correcting it faster each time. The first time they were out at the beginning of a Month 9I think it was June or July) for 4 days.

My numbers seem to be roughly where I'm guessing they should be (based on past sales rates and so forth).
So I think it's fixed.

Happy Monday, everyone! Is anyone else having trouble with the DTP dashboard right now? When I click on "View Month-To-Date Report" the little circle thing goes round and round, but it doesn't ever go to the next screen.
Of course, I'm imagining that the sales are zinging in so fast that the system just can't keep up. I know that's a most unlikely scenario, but it's good to have a dream while I'm waiting...

Guys-gals, it's probably just a server going up and down. Wait to write until they have a chance to reset things from whatever was going on this weekend. (Yeah, I used to work in computers.)

Thanks, Maria! (I just checked for kicks and found that my list of books is there, but I can't access my monthly report. Previous months, yes. This month's, no.)

Now, now, Ed. You know they were arguing about work-related stuff. (I think I might believe the argument excuse if they'd said they were arguing about a girl... )

Well, it woke them up and the DTP reports are back. They also sent out that the Magic email address is for blogs only, to use the feedback-dtp@amazon.com, an email address that has never worked in the past to raise their attention. Rhere must have been a flurry of the blog requests, and maybe the blog people woke the kindle people up - something like "We're getting tons of requests and their yours - wake up." nyway, it worked. Ed - I hate to jump into the email madness, but you accidentally flipped part of the address for the DTP dudes: it's dtp-feedback@amazon.com. FYI, for anybody who may not know, dtp-feedback@amazon.com are the DTP admins; digitalrights@amazon.com are the folks who take care of issues related to Kindle titles ported over from Mobipocket. Now it's time to get writing! Oy!
