The Ultimate Kindle Experience

On my way home from work, I was listening to a radio interview of an author promoting his book.  When I came to a stop sign I turned on whispernet and connect to the kindle store.  The light turned green so I put my kindle down.  At the next light I typed in the book title.  The light turned green.  When I pulled into my driveway I hit the buy button and by the time I got into the house the book was downloaded.  I started reading as I at my lunch.

Too cool (since you weren't actually Kindling while moving, LOL)!  I've done something similar in the car but my husband was driving!

One night my husband and 15 year old daughter were about to leave the house for a meeting. Katie was going nuts, looking of The Wizard of Oz. You know teen girls--she had to read it NOW, or life would never be the same. Suddenly I had an inspiration. I turned on the whispernet and handed her my Kindle. As they were walking out the door, I was signing on to my computer, finding the book she needed, and downloading it to the Kindle, which was on the road! They thought it was pretty cool when, half-way to their destination, The Wizard of Oz magically appeared! The day was saved, thanks to Kindle.

That's awesome! And would be so great for me, who hears about fabulous books to read then completely forgets the title/author the next time I'm in a bookstore.
