So.  I just bought a leather purple m-edge cover on ebay.  Yes.  I know M-Edge never made their K1 covers in purple.  At least, I'm 99.999% sure they didn't.

Knowing that, I ordered one anyway.  Great price ($13.49) and free shipping with a seven day return policy.  Decent feedback rating.

I wrote the seller to confirm that this was for the K1, was leather, not PVC and that it was, in fact purple.  They assured me that all that was true.

So, what color will this be?  I don't have a clue.  I don't see any K1 color that could be misconstrued as purple.   Huh

I was thinking there was a purple K1 cover at one time but I could be wrong.  I last shopped for K1 covers back in August of '08.  I ordered a red leather m-edge off ebay a couple of days ago for my K2.  I thought I got a good price $22.95 but you got me beat. Wink  Anyway, it will be interesting to see what you get.  Let us know.

$22.95 is a GREAT price.  Especially for a K2 cover.  I've been obsessed lately with buying up K1 covers.  I'm so afraid they'll be scarce, or non-existent in the future.  I hope your memory surpasses mine, and that this cover really is purple.

I've got my eye on a Pink Tuff-Luv Leather flip cover, too.  The buyer has 200 of them and it, too is a great price.  And then there's the M-edge leather in red that ends in two days, no reserve, and no bids yet.  (I never bid until the last minute....it just drives the price up.)  Wink

Oh well, my Santa wish list consists of a back up K1.   The worst that will happen is that they'll both be well dressed.

OT....anyone have good results cleaning the suede interior on their M-edge?  Mine doesn't look bad until you compare the color of the exposed suede to that which is covered by the pockets.  Then it's mortifying.  Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm like you, only bid at the last minute.  I hate people like me when I'm selling!

The suede is actually a microfiber fabric.  My old m-edge was dingy when I sold my K1, so I know what you mean.  I worked on it some before I sold it.  It looked better but still not clean.

You should be able to use any water based cleaner on it.  I didn't buy anything special just use dishwashing soap and a damp rag.  If your are going to do that...pour the soap in the sink and run water to let it suds up and then just use the suds not the actual soap.

What ever you decide to use the most important thing is to dry it with a hair dryer on cool.  You need to dry it quickly to keep the the nap from becoming stiff.

I also used a white vellum eraser on mine.  It helped a little, too.

Tangiegirl...did you purchase that from 3000hotdeals?

I just got mine.  The auction stated that it was leather but it is vinyl.  I've sent him an email.  I'm not happy.

Don't blame you.  I responded in your other thread.  Thanks so much for the heads up.

I see you have contacted the seller.  I plan to do the same.
