I am a new K2 owner  Grin and need to find a cover as taking it in the box back and forth to work isn't working that well  Roll Eyes

I'm looking for two things and possibly it may need to be two separate items?Huh

1 - I want this to be a case or sleeve that will totally cover the K2 so that it is protected when in my laptop case that I carry to work every day. Most important factor is screen protection and the slimmer the better without compromising protection.

2 - Cover to use possibly while reading. I want this to be light and easy to use but to also protect K2 against accidental damage.

Any ideas of 1 or 2 products that would meet my requests?

Oh and if either of these happens to be pretty well that's a major plus  Wink

This is what I'm thinking about getting for mine,

I also like this:

Keep in mind that I don't have my kindle yet, so others will know better, but because I want the same as you, I've been looking around a lot.

I'm not sure what kind of case you have, and how much room you have for the kindle, but that seems to cover your two points.  I hope I've been helpful

I have a couple of WaterField cases which I like very much.  Don't see them mentioned much here.

http://www.sfbags.com/products/kindle/kindlecase.htm

I got them for my K1.  I have the slip case which I like to put my K in when in my purse.  It is protection, but the case adds very little weight.  I use it most.  I also have the Sleeve Case which I use occasionally.  It's a little more protection.  Don't have the Travel Case.  None of them are meant for use while reading.

I also have an Oberon cover.  Smiley

Hi Scott

I am a new K2 owner too. I just received the Octo Splash Proof Case yesterday. I bought it for beach/pool use and I really like it. Fits great, easy to hold and no problem with the page buttons or 5-way. The new model that is being sold now has been upgraded to include a velcro flap for access to the on/off switch. I also ordered (haven't received yet) a Senyx leather cover. I am hoping that I will be able to use the two together when necessary. Ordered both through Amazon.

Hi there Gail:  I'm getting a DX in a few days and the OCTO splash proof case seems to be the only one I would like for everyday use, and I'm also looking for a sleeve or case for traveling.  There are not as many choices for the DX :|  I love the OCTO travel case for the K2, that would be perfect if there was a version for the DX, place to put some index cards, etc, heavier but would be ok.  Unless I can find something I like, I'm going to beg my aunt to put together a custom leather case for me.  I'll check out the Senyx leather covers, thanks

Very nice case! I like the nice full protection this provides.

Do you use the Oberon cover with either of these cases? Also, what do you think of the Oberon cover. I'm a bit concerned over the extra weight that it adds but they are gorgeous  Cheesy
