I am now anxiously waiting the arrival of my Oberon cover and decal girl skins.  So, for those who have the velcro attachments, do you cut out the decal and attach the velcro directly to the kindle, or attach the velcro to the decal.  I am thinking of doing the former as I would probably like to change decals along the way and wouldnt want to damage the velcro in the process.

You've got a few options.

1. You can put the Velcro on the skin. It's cheap to replace it if you want to switch out skins (walmart sells it)

2. Don't put the skin on the back. If it's going to be in the cover, nobody's going to see it.

3. Cut out the area on the skin like you suggested. But that seems like too much work to me.

I've tried both 1 & 2. My preference is #1. I bought a roll of Velcro and just put a new piece on when I switch.

I put the velcro on the skin also.  I changed to a new skin & just cut new pieces of velcro from some that I had around the house.  Now if we could find a place to buy just one side of the velcro.  Cheesy

I just don't put the skin on the back - I always have it in the cover anyway, so it seems kinda pointless for me to mess with it, and that way I don't have to worry about it if I change skins (I'm on my 3rd skin...but done now until I get a new Kindle).

On my first Kindle, I got the cover before the skin, so I didn't put the skin on the back.

On my second Kindle, I got the skin before the cover, so I applied the velcro to the skin on the back.
