Hey everyone,
I've been trying (for over a week) to get my book up on Kindle for the $2.00 sale price I promised LAST weekend, but it insists on staying at $4.29.  Just wondering if anyone knows why this is or if there is a new policy that keeps books at a set price.  Again, I apologize for the fall through with the sale; as soon as I can get it at the discount price, I'll be sure to keep it there for an extended amount of time.

I've noticed the same thing.  I've been trying for days to give my book a sale price, and nothing has changed yet.  I was going to lower it to 1.27 for a while and see if it sold better at that price.  (It's been 3.47 for a while).  But so far no go.

I had that problem every time I tried to adjust the price for a novel.  If you contact support, they will get the price change taken care of.

I had four of my books priced at $2 for a couple of weeks. The search page displayed the $2 price but the book pages remained at $3. I eventually lowered the price to $1.99 and that took effect in a few days.

Contacting support from the author page did not bring about any results, but it may be that the author page support email link goes to the wrong section of support. I haven't a clue.  Roll Eyes

Try lowering the price to $1.99.
