I saw my first last weekend. I was so floored I nearly took a photo, but thought it rude LOL. I did mention it in my blog - my DH thought that I was a bit sad for that so I googled it and lo and behold, even found an m-edge cover competition for kindle in the wild photos Kindle in the Wild photo competition

I think M edge have some stunning covers. I was amazed when I saw how many new ones they've come up with in recent months!

Saw my first today.

We were picking up our son and his wife at the airport today and while we were waiting for their luggage I looked across and saw a lady standing on the other side very engrossed in her Kindle.  My hubby said "you better pull yours out"  Grin  I wanted to go over and ask her what she was reading because she was doing a lot of 'next' page pressing without looking up.

Right before spring break (this past week) I was sitting in class reading my kindle 1 (before I got my 2). We had a substitute teacher right out of college, and she came over to my desk, tapped my shoulder and grinned at me, holding up her own. It was a very cool bonding moment. We had a whole conversation about what books we thought should be available and some covers we wanted. The rest of the class thinks it's super cool now whenever I pull it out.

I had my 1st K sighting a couple of weeks ago at my hairdressers. Well, you could have knocked me over. This was a stranger that I had not told about the K. Smiley Most of the time, I'm doing the telling. This lady was sitting down waiting, & reading, while I was hurredly trying to get ready to leave. I stared at her K. Naked in a pretty case, maybe M-edge. I even asked her if that was a kindle. She said yes. I showed her my cross body bag where I had my K2 in. Since I was in a rush, I told her all the info., this group, as I could think of, until my hairdresser told me that I should go, as my mother was waiting for me in the car. LOL! We had such a great talk about books, etc. She had just gotten her K in Dec., she told me, after I fired off all the info. :)That was so much fun.
My father had shown his Eye Dr. his K, & when he went last week, his Dr. told him that he got a K for Christmas as well.
