So my hubby got me a Kindle for Christmas.  Specifically for Business Trips, my company has a site in Sofia Bulgaria and I'll be traveling at least once a quarter.

I am in the hotel room in Bulgaria on my first trip and the battery life is shocking.  I was in the airport/airplane for 18+ hours.  I was probably reading 3/4 of that time.  I haven't even dented the battery indicator.  Grin  I did of course have the wireless turned off the whole time and have NO intention of turning it on while I'm here (not sure what might trigger a $2 download fee (I'm subscribed to blogs).

So I'm very impressed!  I've had to recharge my iPhone with the external battery once already.  Just thought I'd share!

Ya the battery life is amazing Cheesy

P.S. That is cool that you visit Sofia Bulgaria, when I lived in Greece we took a vacation to Sofia. It was pretty neat, dont know how it looks now but back then it was filled with beautiful red brick roads. Was also impressed with some of the museums Cheesy

Bring back some pictures for us!

I am rather excited to see it in the light of day.  I arrived about 5:30 local time and it was too dark to see much.  I'll be here through the weekend and hope to get out to do some sightseeing this weekend, I've heard there are beautiful churches and museums!  The pics will be from my iPhone since I let my hubby talk me out of bringing my good camera!  Undecided

And how long is the trip from here to Greece?  I'm hoping to bring the hubby on one of these trips and we'd like to go to Greece!

There's lots to see in Bulgaria itself. I've been there many times. You can take your hubby for example to Black Sea resort areas like Nesebr, Solntchev Bryag and Burgas. This time of year you can have excellent skiing for example in Pamporovo some 200 miles from Sofia. Greece is probably 2 hour flight away, Turkey is even less.

Kindle's battery life is nothing short of amazing. I got mine more than a month ago. Reading it almost daily for at least 40 mins on a subway, did some occasional wirless and it still more than half full.
