Thank you for making my day! I have so much fun finding these goodies and when I can share them and make someone else happy, it is well worth the time I put into it! So glad you like it all!
Enjoy!

Today, I received my jewelry and Buddha from Japan.  I absolutely love the chocolate pearls and the jade bracelet.  However, the bracelet is too big for me to wear so it will reside near my God of longevity.  I adore the white buddha too.  But, it has two black marks on it down by his feet.  Is it supposed to have those Mary Ann?  I can't tell if it is marked up or just a part of the natural jade.  Regardless, I am so happy with my Buddha and God of Longevity.  They are both beautiful.
Can't wait to see what else you get.  I am going to go broke from these boards though.

I received my lavender jade bangle.  It's beautiful...a real solid piece of jade.  A great piece of jade.  It's too large for me to wear as a bracelet..if anyone is interested, pm me; however, it does make a nice display piece otherwise.  Thank you MaryAnn!

A friend asked me to go to a local jewelry mart and help her find a butterfly necklace with aquamarines for her godchild who was born last Thursday.  I decided to take the lavender jade bangle with me to see if it could be made smaller.  One of the retailers (the market is made up of 25-30 independent shops) had a lot of jade.  He said that it really could not be made smaller and still retain a rounded shape.  He showed me necklaces that he had  made from bangles that had cracked or broken (curved piece of jade about 1-2" long with end caps and then attached chain to form a necklace).  He said he could make 4 necklaces from my bangle if I wanted it cut into pieces.  I said I didn't...it's too pretty to be destroyed.  As we were leaving, my friend asked him how much my bangle was worth.  He said at least $250-300...that was a nice surprise!

That's awsome! I have had a couple of my bangles sent to a jeweler that I know in the states and he offered me $200 each for them, he sells them for $800!

I received my buffalo horn bangle bracelet and double strand silver butterfly necklace yesterday and both are BEAUTIFUL!  Smiley   Perfect fit on the bracelet and the drop of the necklace is lovely and adjustable.  Thanks for the zippered pouch for storing the necklace!

Can't wait to see what you find next!

I received my white large pearl strand today, and they are exactly what I wanted and the perfect size around my neck.  Love them.  Thankyou Mary Ann.

I am so glad everyone has been enjoying my finds. I have always thought it would be fun to run my own shop selling a variety of goodies and I think when I get back to the states I will be looking into opening that shop! I really enjoy doing this and doing it for a living would just be sooo much fun!

Wow, I almost made it to page 2! Well, I took a little time off from shopping, but tomorrow I will be hitting the auctions again! So, I want to know before I go, if anyone here is interested in more jade items, or if I should stick to the jewelery? I know there were a couple requests for tea sets, so I will see what I can do, and I still have my list of "look for" items. I will be looking at jade tomorrow, since my daughter has said it's what she wants for easter (I wonder if they have jade bunnies) and if anyone is looking to get some from me, I will scoop up whatever reasonable pieces I can get.
Thanks!

I love looking at everything you get.  It's a great surprise to see everything.

I got my pink pearls yesterday and they are very pretty.
Thank you, Mary Ann.

I'm interested in a jade bangle....  the buffalo horn bracelet fit me perfectly, so something around that circumference.  Maybe a long string of pearls or a multi-strand....

But like Deb, I like looking at everything you get.... lots of surprises.  Smiley

(I'm not really interested in the glass jewelry because I can get quite a bit of that from around here....)

The jade bangles (especially the lavender) are beautiful - large and small sizes.  I think people like the things they can't get here in the regular stores - things with a definite Asian flair.

I would love a lavendar jade bangle that is smaller than the large (how small are the small ones?).
They are beautiful.

I am very small and the small bangle does not slide off my wrist.  It's not teeny, but it fits me nicely.
I've never been able to buy a bangle anywhere that I was able to wear until this one.

My hands/wrists are average.  The large is too large and sounds like the small is too small for me  Cry

The interior circumference is 7 inches.  It slides on and off very easy, but does not fall off.

That might actually work for me...thank you for doing that...very kind.

The large was 9 inches and way too big.  Now we'll have to wait to see what MaryAnn comes back with Smiley

I'm on the lavender bangle train, too! Cheesy I've been watching this thread since it started, and you've picked up so many lovely pieces! I really loved the small lavender bangle that had some etchings on it that you picked up once. I've been kicking myself ever since for not getting it.
