Product Description
This literary thriller revolves around Parker Sloane. When he returns from a dismal foray into third-world cash-smuggling to his childhood home in the woods of New England, it seems he’s seeing his country and his blended stepfamily for the first time—and finding both just as twitchy, desperate, paranoid and unpredictable as the underworld types he thought he’d escaped.

Before he can even unpack, Parker goes head-to-head with his relatives—his tyrannical stepfather, seething younger brother, newly evangelical mother, and his alluring younger half-sister Rita—and with the demons they never exorcised.

Delicately but disastrously, Parker attempts to keep his family from imploding, unaware that they have their own plans for escape. The Moon in Deep Winter combines the dark comedy of the Coen brothers with the doomed lyricism of Denis Johnson, creating an airtight world of homicidal family dysfunction.

Ok, from top to bottom: 3 cream pearl necklace w/matching earrings ($12), Pink jade w/white gold dragon design($13), agate flower($15),
blue jade w/white gold dolphin($13), single white pearl dangle($12), agate koi fish($15), long strand pastel pearls (approx. 150+ pearls!)($7), single strand chocolate pearls($11), and the Red CZ's ($10) are still available.  And at the very bottom are my feet...wow, I need a pedicure!!!

Peach, Pink (taken), white, black (taken), long chocolate strand (taken) I can get more of any of these next month when I go again. The triple strands are $15 and the long chocolate are $31 if I get them from the store, sometimes I will be able to offer them for less if I can win them at auction.

This is one of the decorative plate sets I have. There are 5 of them in different colors, I will get pics of all of them up eventually. Each set has 3 plates in graduated sizes (sorry for the finger prints, I should have wiped them down first!) This one has the yin/yang, with luck and longevity. the red is foiled on so it's really neat when you see it in person. Each one will be $25 shipped.

Another plate set...this one has crushed egg shell and mother of pearl inlaid to make the design. Very neat!

Hope you like what I found this week...there are a few more items, a crystal tea set (not useable but very beautiful) $35 shipped, there are also a couple more necklaces and some earrings I have...so more pics to come!!

You all need to go to Vietnam. They have the best pearls there -all colours and sizes. Hubby bought me a rare gold pearl for our 30th anniversary (pearl) and matching bracelet and earrings all in 18 carat gold.

How beautiful - a Golden South Sea pearl or Akoya, which are now farmed in Vietnam?

Oh goodness, everything is so pretty.
I'm glad we gave you a laugh.  I bet you didn't realize how excited we could get over a couple of pictures.
So sorry you were feeling bad.  Glad you're better and the sun was shining.
Thank you, Mary Ann.

I hope you know I was kidding about the fight over the chocolate pearls.   Grin

You really scored!  Everything is gorgeous and you are so sweet to go to the trouble to do this.  So sorry to you were suffering with a migraine.  I hope it's gone for good.

I'm going to try to hold out for the single chocolate or black pearl.   Cool

These are beautiful!   Eyeing the dolphin on the blue "lifesaver"...

Don't know if you saw my earlier post,  but if you do see any dangly clip-on earrings, I'd be very interested.

Also, the pink jade with the dragon would be a perfect birthday gift for a friend who collects dragon jewelry.  If nobody else has expressed an interest in that one, I'll take it!  PM me with details on how that would work?  (No hurry here, the birthday is in June...  whenever's convenient for you.)

Some questions for you!

Does the single pearl dangle come with the earrings laying next to them, all for $12?

Does the long strand of pastel pearls come with the earrings that are laying face down, all for $21?  If so, what color are the earrings?

How long are the triple strands?  How long are the non-long single strands?

Those luscious long chocolate pearls are mine!  But I'm thinking about getting more......

So, it was kind of a hit/miss this week. They had some new stuff, but very llittle jewelery this week. I got a few neat things. The bidding was crazy and many of the usual items were going for much higher prices. I will be posting pics soon. I think I finally figured out how to make my camera focus, so now all I need it a clear day for some natural light and I should be able to get some good images. Having a bot of an off day, not to mention it's raining here, so I will try to get them up tomorrow! Just as a bit of a teaser, I did mange to get a long strand of pastel pearls, a mix of lavender, peach, and cream, with matching earrings for $5, and a sterling silver anchor for $3!!! almost everything else rand between $12-20. My big winnings were a couple of color enhanced jade necklaces. You will have to wait for the pictures, but they were $11 each. One is a beatiful pink hoop with a white gold dragon design inside. The other is a blue circle with a white gold dolphin. Both are great and usually sell for around $30-35, so I was really excited to get them!
I am off to take a nap!

Did these items I bolded sell already?  What a deal!

Mary Ann....when you get a minute, did you see anything that a 20-something guy would like? I don't think he'd wear anything like a pendant (or whatever you'd call it for a guy).   Wink  Any smallish items (not too expensive, under $50 ??) to place around the apartment?

Suggestions anyone....?

Just to stop in real quick and let you all know I am still here. These stupid headaches are just killing me right now. Everytime I think I have gotten past it, it bites me in the @$$! My husband will be stopping by the PO and picking up mailing envelopes for me so I can get things moving for you...everything else will just have to hold for a day or so till my head stops trying to collapse in on my brain!

When you are feeling better, let me know if the koi necklace is still available.
If it is, how much?

Thanks!

Yes, $15!

Thank you all for such kind words. Last night was the first time I was feeling better and then a girlfriend got a promotion and we celebrated...with a little too much wine! LOL, not good for headaches! Anyway, I am getting all the orders together now, If i haven't gotten back to you on a message I will in the next two days. Things are a little crazy right now, and I am trying to straighten it all out! Thanks!
