Possible Kindle Damage from Cover Warning

Just a heads up for the KB Community. I purchased the following case from a member here on KB, and the cover itself works well and so far I like it. HOWEVER- last night I noticed the little "notes" holder pocket on the inside was rubbing into my DecalGirl skin, and left an indent impression from the fake "stitching".

Once I noticed this I took a pair of scissors to the cover and removed the inside "Folder" Not about to have that trashing my pretty decalgirl! The indent seems to be somewhat less after a 24 hour reprieve from the contact area, but there will probably always be some minor damage. Just a heads up so you all don't get in the same situation.

So it is actually just rubbing the decal off and not the kindle itself?

It left an imprint in the skin [deep] Because the skin is there I can't see the Kindle itself and I'm not removing the skin- I'm assuming judging by the damage done to the skin that yes it would scratch the kindle.

When I received my M-edge case, it came with a same-size foam pad inside. I kept the foam pad and when I close and latch my case, the foam pad remains inside covering the K2. I don't know why I did that originally other than just an aversion to closing the case over an unprotected K2.

When I open the case to read, I slip the foam in between the two flaps of the case. If I'm reading at a table, I fold the foam in half and use it like a wedge to lift the top of the K2 for easy reading.

For me, keeping the soft foam was the right thing to do! (When I use my Javo-Edge, I leave the foam inside the M-Edge and put it away. (Awaiting my Oberon now then I buy a skin!)

I'd be wary of those extra pockets rubbing against the screen.  Skins you can replace by screens are another story. D:
