Fishing’s Greatest Misadventures presents twenty-six true stories which cover the spectrum from terrifying to comical to downright bizarre. In these pages everyday fishermen, pros, and journalists tell their stories of freak accidents, fishy attacks, pranks, idiotic decisions, eerie or unexplained incidents, and other jaw dropping, adrenalin-pumping calamities. The stories bring to life the strange possibilities that await us once we cast our lines into known and unknown waters.

Here are some of the characters you'll meet inside these pages:

* A sport fisherman who gets taken on harrowing underwater ride by an angry white shark.
* An adventure angler whose boat is over turned by a 200 lb Amazon-river catfish.

I went through the FAQ's of this section and didn't see this addressed. Please forgive me if I missed it.

My friend has a Kindle2 and was mentioning to me that it sometimes looses her page. For example, she will put in to sleep when done reading, and when she picks it back up, its on the wrong page.

Any thoughts?

I am guessing it has been a while since she has reset her Kindle. Have her hold her slider switch for 30-40 seconds until the Kindle restarts, this should fix the problem, unless it is a problem with the specific book file she is reading.

Some other possibilities:
If the book is one of those in Topaz format (.awz1), I have noticed that sometimes when I go back into the book from the Home page that it will be a few pages earlier in the book.

If I am in the book and close the cover before putting it to sleep sometimes presses on the cover will turn the page in the book. (If I was on the Home page, sometimes I wake it up to find that page turns via cover presses have moved it to page 2, 3, or 4.)

If I am in a book and the Kindle resets, it will return to the page I was on when I last started reading the book. I will also have lost any of the recent notes I added to the book. I believe that this is because the Kindle saves page, note, bookmark, and highlight information when it leaves the book (i.e. return to home page, jump to dictionary, jump to wikipedia, etc.). It is for this reason that I try to remember to go to the Home page whenever I stop reading or after writing a long note.
