Hi!
My name is Liz and I'm a Kindle Addict! Well, not yet, actually, but i did just order it today, and I have to be very patient and wait until March!!

I am an avid reader, married to a non reader, mother of 2 teenagers, and an elementary school teacher. My books are my passion, my quiet moments in this crazy world.

I want to thank all that have have welcomed me after my first post, I have been lurking around for about a week, not wanting to post until I could be an official almost-owner! I love this board and everyone is SOOOO helpful and nice, what a great community!

You are good to go.  When your Kindle arrives, all you have to do is change the 02 to a 01 and it will be a kindle owner tag

Hello Makiah!
Hello Liz!

I love that this topic sounds like a 12 step meeting. (grins)

Hi, my name is ProfCrash and I have owned a Kindle since October. I have spent the equivalent of 6 days posting on Kindle Boards. I download any free book that I can find.

We even have a topic to discuss the coffee and tea we might be drinking at the weekly meeting.  Cheesy

I love it here.

Fearing I was beginning to dwell inside a Poe short story, I found this discussion board thanks to Leslie N. *Just bought her [his?] FAQ @ Amazon [you should feel the financial "bump" soon, Dear author].  While certainly no pandemic as yet, there is comfort in finding a minor mass-hysteria concerning Kindles in general here.  My problem is the unrealized obtaination of same...  I've now received my M-Edge leather thing to hold it, the cute twistable light to shine upon it, an SD card to extend its imagination, and now the faint hope [thru this warmly funny group] that I am not, indeed, nuts for feeling so unfulfilled. I've even prepared 18 screensavers of my own work [42 years photography] to personalize the new device. For any photo lovers [those are things they wrap words around in tomes sometimes]: garymsullivan.com ...  I also like fireplaces; long walks on the beach; strong, yet sensitive women; candles w/ dinner; puppies licking my face... Uhh, that's for maybe a Match.com profile isn't it?  MY BAD.
