Mine is set for 6.  Someone else on the list meanted using reading glasses to read at a lower font size.  I'll try it with some reading glasses I have, I've never done that before.  Maybe, I could back it down to 5 or even 4.

Thank-you Amazon for the Kindle, I am reading print again after being away from it for 15 years because of decreasing vision.  I never walk out my front door without my Kindle DXG and Fire, they have been both liberating and life changing for me.  Thanks again.  Sincerely, Gene

I fluctuate between a 3 and a 4...depending on my eyes and how tired I am.
