When a book hits the NY Times best-seller list, Amazon typically drops the price to $9.99. (Although I know it might not always be that way.) Is there a certain day of the week the price would drop?

I'm waiting for one...

I think it varies.  I can't remember when the list comes out...but I have seen posts that the books typically get discounted about 3 days after.  Of course...that will be going away if it is a macmillan book as of March. (And about 4 other publishers that are signing new contracts with amazon to prevent them from discounting that low--but I don't know when those contracts are up.)

I hope the book comes down in price for you!!!

I think I've heard Tuesdays in the past.  Not sure if it's still true or not.
