I was one of the first to get my M-Edge eLuminator2 booklight in July 2009.  I anxiously waited for the item to be in stock.  It arrived and I loved it.  I actually wrote a very nice review about the light and it was published in the KindleBoards Handbook.  I noticed over the last few weeks the light started flickering.  I could tap it and would go on or off.  I checked the battery connectinon and it was good.  I believe the problem was in the switch.  I wrote an email to M-Edge customer service.  I told them when I bought the light and the symptoms I was having. I asked if I could get it replaced.  I got an email back, the same day, apologizing for the problem and telling me they would ship a new one out immediately.  They also sent a .pdf file that contained a shipping label to ship the defective booklight back.  I just received an email this morning with a tracking number from Fedex, it's on it's way.  I am extremely pleased with the customer service with this company.  I will be a customer for a long time.

Wow!  That's outstanding customer service.

I have heard a few more people complain about flickering...  maybe they can get help too.  I have had mine a few months and haven't had any problems with it thus far.  Smiley

I bought the M-Edge cover when the first edition eluminator light was announced.  I immediately had problems with the first light flickering and they promptly sent me a replacement (they didn't even wait for the returned light to arrive).  Unfortunately, I had similar problems with the second light.  They not only refunded me the price of the light but also told me that they would ship me the improved version of the light when it came out free of charge.   The second version of the light clearly showed they were listening to their customers..not only fixing the power issues but an improved design.  M-Edge is a company that definitely knows how to keep its customers.
