I really like the oberon cover celtic hounds but am unsure about the straps how it would look on a skin .
Is there another case out there with a hinge like the amazon has that is the one I own but it is so plain

Have you gone to the Oberon pictures thread in the Accessories section?  There you will at least see a few DX's with straps so that you can see how your Kindle will look in one.
