I'm looking for a light for my DX.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  Does the Kandle work well?
Thanks

I think I'm turning into one of  the people that's tried them all.  The Kandle isn't great for the bottom of the screen, it may bother you or not.  I gave mine to my husband, and switched to a Mighty Bright.  It gives off a nice and even light, though a bit gangly.  Nothing seems to be perfect so far, I'm waiting to see the Octo, but I suspect it will have the same problems as the Kandle.

Same here! The Kandle works great on my K2, but I don't like it for the DX that I use to use for work. Bottom of the screen is way too dark. Also hoping the new Octovo light might work for my DX. (Fingers crossed  Cheesy  )

Best Wishes!

Here you go, Techbotboy!

Comes in both white and black colors. You can also do a search on Kindleboards where we have talked about the Kandle.

The Octovo light isn't out yet. Harvey, the head bartender, did a preview with some pictures of it here:

OT: Are you on the North or South Island? In the mid 1980's, I spent a month touring the South Island. Just a rental car, handful of motel vouchers, and a fishing pole, LOL!

Best Wishes!

I returned the Kandle as it just didn't light the bottom of the screen well on my DX.  I just bought the Mighty Bright and am very happy with it.  http://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Bright-XtraFlex2-Frustration-Free-Packaging/dp/B002CMLDT6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&tag=kindleboards-20&s=fiona-hardware&qid=1268353891&sr=1-1

I love how with the Mighty Bright, it can be positioned any which way.  I usually have the light to the right of the screen about half way down, but am always looking at the screen while I position it.

I agree the Mighty Bright's flexibility cannot be beat. You can literally put the light anywhere you need it,thanks to the flexible head.
