Nope, nothing there... I guess it could have hit my spam folder and been deleted before you told us you sent? Any chance of a resend? Sorry to be so much trouble...

Nothing 'out', Geoff! Just sharing some as-yet-unpublished goodies with my favorite people, including you. Sending the novella via e-mail today.

Happy New Year, everyone!!! I just finished the Aincor novella...it sure filled in a lot of questions I hadn't even thought of from Fire-Heart. Great story and VERY nice to keep feeding the Alterra fire. Thanx, Archer!

Funny story...I finally finished the last of the Clan of the Cave Bear series my wife got me (in hardback; weighed a TON) for my birthday. I then moved back to the Kindle and started some story I downloaded a long time ago called "Compromising Positions". Who doesn't enjoy and easy-read romance once in a while, right? I have been reading just before bed lately since my days have been crazy lately, so it takes a long time to get through a book at that slow pace. Last night my wife notices I'm sucked into the book and haven't put it away to talk to her with our usual chit-chat before bed about "what's going on tomorrow? do you need me to get you anything while I'm out? etc. She leans over and asks, " What are you reading? Elfhunter again?". Too funny, but that "is" the general effect your books have on me (and likely most), Archer! The rest of the world just fades away...funny, I never knew anyone noticed.

Awww, Brewie, you always brighten my day. I have exciting news for friends of Alterra...watch this space! Incidentally, I am having hardcover versions of the original three books printed before I take them out of print. If any of my favorite readers would like me to reserve any, I will. At present, there are only plans to print 50 of each volume, so let me know, ok? It's ok to change your mind when they get here, I just want to make sure everyone who wants them gets them.

An ARC is an "Advance Reader Copy" which is printed before a book is published. It's circulated to reviewers and books buyers so they can tell what's coming and decide if they want to pre-order it.
