So, I apparently talked my boss into a Kindle - helped him order one last night. Now he shows up in my office asking questions I can't seem to answer. Today - can you download books from Barnes & Noble in a format readable on the Kindle? Or will they only work with the Nook? Eventually, of course, the companies will get smart and realize the money is in the media, not the device, and everyone will be compatible with everyone or we'll just get down to one format. It is in the publishers' best interest to let us read their stuff no matter what device we're using.

But anyway, in the meantime - can you read B&N ebooks on Kindle? Anybody know?

Sorry, B&N eBooks can't be read on a Kindle.

Vlad is back, and this time he's hungry. I mean, really hungry. I could explain the plot of this one, but I think I'm going to eat, instead.  Steven Brust's synopsis of Druz.

However, just about any book available at B&N is going to be available at Amazon!
