1. What do you think of the Stone of Leir and Nelwyn's vision? What is your reaction to Lord Shandor at this point?

2. Now we have seen how handy the ring can be to someone who desires to hunt and kill Elves. We have also seen that the ring is not all-powerful; it will not work in Tal-sithian. Once again, Gelmyr has a sarcastic field day! There are actually several reasons why Gorgon is frustrated here--do you think he might actually be enjoying his glimpses into the world of Light?

3. Why is it necessary for Wrothgar to send Kharsh? What do you think of him?

Archer.. I read something quite confusing now..

Gaelen speaks to Lady Arialde who says that "Her (Brinneal) death was both tragic and welcomed..." What? How could it be welcomed? Fill me in...
Also I wonder.. Did Arialde speak to Gaelens mind without the others hearing it, or was it loud?

Winter:

Brinneal's death was welcomed by Brinneal. She had suffered unspeakable things in the dungeons of Wrothgar. She had just given birth to a monster whom she knew would be reared in the blackest of evil realms. she was quite happy to die. Undecided

I know what  you mean.  When I read them, I could not put them down.  Each book was like "The Lost Weekend".  Other than read, I got absolutely nothing else accomplished.  As far as anyone else was concerned, I might as well not have been there.  I also dreaded getting to the end, because then I didn't have the next chapter to look forward to.  These books are definitely addictive!  What do you do for Elfhunter withdrawal?  Not even dark chocolate would help.

What's the cure for Elfhunter withdrawal?

Why, Outcaste, of course!  Cheesy

(Starting over would probably work, too. I always miss stuff in a book the first time I read it. I find that I am anxious to find out what happens, and I don't always pay attention to details. I read my favorites over and over again. Do you guys do that too?)

Ummmm Archer dear...
I'd love to cure my withdrawal symptoms with Outcaste.
I am anxiously awaiting the ability to do so.
But, alas, I cannot cure my withdrawal symptoms with something I cannot get now can I??? (How many can's can you stuff in a sentence?)

So any word yet on when said cure might be available to us?

Well, not to make everyone jealous, I HAVE read Outcaste  Grin.  Now I have Outcaste withdrawal, too!  Want MORE!  Well, I have read the trilogy more than once, but maybe it's time to read it on my iPod (no Kindle...yet).  I agree that I always see things that I missed the first (or second) time when I re-read.  Well, I have to admit, I lied in the first sentence.  I DID want to make you jealous, evil being that I am.  (snicker, snicker)  Well, when you're the map maker, you have to know what to draw a map of.  Hey, Archer, should we try the map first and then the tale?  NOT!

Carmyn, you're not supposed to reveal your evil nature. Now you can't take over the universe when everyone least expects it. Don't you know ANYTHING? Jeez!  Roll Eyes

Actually Carmen that sounds like a brilliantly evil idea!!!!

You go draw the map of your dreams and hand it to Archer with the challenge to "write a story around THIS!"

Sounds like that commercial where the lady is asking the architect to design a house around a faucet.

Snicker! Snork!

And, don't think I couldn't write a story to go with ANY map you could come up with, Carmyn! Ha!
(What? The Elves meet the Amphibious Dwarves of the Marianas Trench? Egads!)

Notice, Tipper Ol' Pal, that I avoided answering your query regarding Outcaste. If you want to have a real answer, send me a pm! I'll tell you a little story...)  Wink
