1. Poor Realta! Is there a 'moral' to this little horsey interlude?

2. What, exactly, IS Gelmyr?  Is he really a ghost, or is he something else? (He is definitely one of my FAVORITE characters, and I think Mel Gibson should play him in the movie!)

3. What is your reaction to Amandir's attitude toward Gaelen? Why do you think he senses her 'involvement' with Gorgon, whereas no one else (except perhaps for Arialde) seems to?

4. Gorgon and Gaelen are truly 'channeling' each other by now. What effects have you seen in either character?

5. WHY does Gaelen throw herself in the Narrows?

6. Orogond has 'gone and done it now'--he has declared himself to Gaelen. Does she react the way you expect her to? Do you think Gorgon's influence has any bearing on her response?

7. On a 'sappy romantic' scale, where do you rate Gaelen's encounter with Rain?

Hi, Winter! (Probably not morning any more.)  Smiley

Wood-elves, in particular, are sensitive to large amounts of sugar. It makes them silly and punch-drunk. Honey has other ingredients that make it even more potent. They love it the way we love, ummm...substances that make us happy and silly.  Smiley

Other Elves (not Wood-elves) are not affected in this way. It's a Wood-elf thing.

I spent some time on the cafè here today, reading! Poor Gaelen. She now knows, I just hope she can take comfort in Orogond..

I'm coming close to the end of the book now. Wondering what to read next. I will  be eager to start Fire-Heart at once, but I know I should read something between. It's just the way I am. It's soon may, so I will be reading a book for march reading game. That is fun too.

When will we see threads for Fire-Heart? We have to do book club for the two last too!!! I love discussing while I read. We are privileged being able to ask questions directly to the author Cheesy

No I will lie down with Elfhunter for a little while I think!

Winter:

I'll bet Betsy will set up a klub for the other two books. That was the intent, I think. Perhaps we should message her and ask her to put it on the list of things to do.

I think we should!

I'm surprised that Orogond and Llewelly are so friendly toward each other. I'm curious to see how it evolves as Gaelen consider Orogond's words toward her.

Now I will be going and take a shower. I will be attending a party for my house owners today Smiley
