I just recently purchased my Kindle and, given the horrid state of my purse, needed a cover in order to be able to carry it around with me. I literally searched over an hour through the different cases, weighed the pros and cons, and finally decided on this one. I'm not disappointed.

The color is beautiful, perfect. Very close to the picture, maybe a tad lighter, but not enough to notice. It was very easy to set my Kindle up in it. Although it's a little more awkward than holding a kindle with no cover, after an hour of reading, I hardly noticed the difference. I really like the clasp on the outside that keeps the cover closed. I notice some covers don't have that, but it comes in useful when you stuff things in your purse and you don't want anything getting to your screen.

I bought the illuminator booklight that fits with the case, but I haven't had to use it yet. There is a neat little slit at the top of the cover that you can slip the light into. Fits perfectly for travel.

The quality doesn't feel or look cheap or cheesy. And the interior has a few slots for business cards which may come in useful.

I highly recommend it for people looking for something that looks high quality but won't break the bank.

I totally agree with this review! I also recently purchased an M-Edge Prodigy synthetic leather cover in red, which is a deep dark red, and absolutely love everything about it.

It does not look cheap and I love the little belted accent used as a closure. I also purchased the e-lluminatior 2 light to go with it, have used it several times and can only rave about it also.

I highly recommend the m-edge prodigy cover to anyone considering buying one!

I don't actually have this case, but I saw one in real life....it may be "synthetic", but it's very nice!

Thanks for suggestions. I've been suffering sticker shock in case prices but will look at this one.

I also have an M-Edge case with the book light and I agree with the review.  It is a great case, protects the kindle, works well for using while reading, and the book light works well and fits into the case well.
