Do you study a certain version of the Bible, devotionals, Christian fiction or any other Christian readings?

Thank You

Hi, Zebra. Yes, there are some who are attempting to read through the Bible in one year. There are two Bibles which are being used. One is called Grace for the Moment Daily Bible. In it you have a reading every day which includes something from the Old Testament, something from the New Testament, something from Psalms and Proverbs.  Here is a link to that particular Bible.

Others are reading the Bible in chronological order. There are two Bibles being used for that particular one. The Bible I am using is The Chronological Study Bible, NKJV. There is a schedule and if you stick to the schedule, you will read the Bible in one year.

There hasn't been much discussion in either of the threads. I am keeping up with my readings in The Chronological Study Bible and am really enjoying it and learning so much from it.

Thanks for answering Zebra Suzi - I am not up to being very intelligent nowadays, but was able to finally catch up to the Chronoligical Bible reading 2-3 days at a time.  I have lots of comments and questions, but those will have to wait.

For those of you that haven't read the "Prayer Requests" thread we lost one of our OYB members. Dona died unexpectedly yesterday. She has been a faithful, compassionate, loving, funny, giving member since the start of the OYB group. When I needed a lift there would be a personal message from Dona.

I love you dear friend and will miss you like crazy!!  Cry  Cry

You are welcome! I would be happy to jump in on any discussion, whether it be the chronological Bible or the Max Lucado Bible. I have been having some health problems and reading is very difficult (it makes me extremely dizzy), so I had to stop my daily Bible reading in the chronological Bible. For now I am reading the New Testament on my Kindle when I am able to. It helps a lot to have the text set to really large, then my eyes aren't going from left to right. It's that movement of the left to right with my eyes that sets off my vertigo.

Please feel free to jump in on any thread & add your thoughts.

I have written a devotions book that is a primer for those who want to quickly learn the biblical truths of a Christian lifestyle. Called Fast Track to Victory, A Christian Guidebook, this book is tailored for new and young Christians, those who aren't crazy about reading, and seekers. It contains 40 short lessons with prayers and is non-denominational. I pray you are blessed.
