My Kindle came today!! I already had books on it and well they were there. I know I definitely need a skin for it. Shopping now for it. I have my case and light coming tomorrow and just ordered my Borsa Bella bag.

Im having a problem finding a skin that will match my case and bags. They are all earthy tones, but there are just none I like right now. I want to get screensavers, but Im not sure how to do it. 

I have a MAC, I know there is a hack, is the hack safe?  Can someone point me to the place where I can figure out how to do the hack and get the pictures on my Kindle.  Thanks

ame8199, congratulations on getting your Kindle.  I believe the instructions for the hacks are in the Tips, Tricks & Troubleshooting threads.  I haven't done them but those that have say its easy, just make sure you follow the instructions for your version of Kindle.  Good Luck, I hope you love your Kindle as much as I do mine.

Yay!  Congrats on your new Kindle.  I've only used the font hack (which I love), so have no firsthand knowledge of the screensaver hack.  But, I did find instructions here:

Are the hacks safe?  I think so.  I haven't read about anyone having any real, non-fixable, problems with them.  I'm sure others will chime in.  There is one known scary thing that can happen (at least with the font hack, I'm not sure about the screensaver hack) where your Kindle goes into a loop if you don't follow the instructions.  I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this, but it happened to me because I got impatient and slid the slider button while the hack was installing even though the instructions very specifically said not to do that.     I was worried that I'd bricked my Kindle, but I remained mostly calm and followed the instructions on how to fix things should this happen and everything turned out fine.
