I am going to purchase this for my kindle dx I want the red but not sure about the black strip where the buttons are the navy has a grey strip .Wondering if the black will be a distraction when reading

What color do you own and do you like the leisure jacket

I have it in navy/grey.  The gray strip is not a distraction.  I've had it 4 months and it decently protects the kindle (but I don't drop it anyhow) if you flip it over in the case when not in use.  I have sneezed on it, got it dirty and sticky, and spilled beverages on it.  It cleans up nicely.  The entire body of the case has got loose on me though, with about 1/8 inch clearance to move around where it didn't have that before.  And the plastic front (through which you are reading if it's in there) warps somewhat.

Do you have to use any special cleaner on it

I used the poison baby wipes that we have at work to kill germs on hard surfaces with.
