Hello everyone, I know that we're all Kindle owners, but I was wondering if there are any Kindle for PC users here? How are you liking the Kindle program? I have mine on my laptop, so I can just sit in bed and read all night long . . . . . I did have some issues with it earlier (wasn't displaying my books), so I had to uninstall then reinstall. Luckily, this took care of the issue. Other than that, I love it. My only complaint is that some of the books I want aren't available in Kindle format. So, anyone else have any feedback? -Jenna

I have it installed on my notebook, but mainly just use it occasionally when I want to look up something in a book while using my PC. For regular reading I always use my Kindle 2.

I have a netbook that has the pc version, but I haven't used the virtual pc kindle since I got my k2i.
There are fewer options with the pc, but it does have thumbnails and color if you need that for a technical drawing or such.

I installed it on my old laptop. . .said, wow, that's cool. . . .and never looked at it again. Did not install it on my new laptop when I got it. I have 2 Kindles, so wouldn't use the computer for reading. . .though I am looking forward to the promised Android app just for convenience. Realistically, though, I'll probably hardly ever use it either.

Great for graphics and a quick look at an interesting sample. Reading......not so much.

The cookbooks show up much better on the PC; the pictured dishes actually look appetizing in color.

I've used it on occasion to read a sample or short story. Wish you could search with it link you can on the Kindle itself.

I have it on my laptop. I use it for reference books like the Kindle Users Guide or Canon EOS Rebel T1i For Dummies.
Otherwise I use my Kindle.

Looks like I'm the only non-Kindle owner . Someday I'll get the Kindle, I hope, but for now I'm happy with the Kindle for my PC. -Jenna

I've used it a fair bit, ever since my wife took my Kindle and refused to give it back.
I find it fairly easy to read for extended periods on my netbook; I actually prefer reading on the netbook to reading on my iPad - but neither is as nice as using the Kindle.

That’s pretty much what I did. Installed it on the PC and the IPod and have ignored it since.

I installed it on my laptop but never use it. Too many distractions. Use my Ipod Touch on occasion.
